Hi! I am Lydia Moore Allen
I am a multi-state, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II, Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional, Certified Parenting Instructor, and Qualified Supervisor. I have dedicated more than 22 years to supporting individuals and families. I specialize in helping women transform relationship patterns by addressing childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and relational dynamics. I provide counseling services for teens and adults, clinical supervision for registered MSW interns, and consultation for organizations seeking to strengthen and enhance their programs. I am deeply committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I also specialize in conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for Immigration Court, including cases involving hardship waivers, asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions, U-Visas for victims or witnesses of crime, and T-Visas for survivors of human trafficking. As an evaluator, my role is to thoughtfully and accurately represent each individual’s psychosocial, emotional, and psychological experiences through thorough, well-documented assessments. My training was completed through the Immigration Diagnostic Evaluations Academy, and I continue to engage in ongoing professional development through monthly educational consultations to ensure the highest standard of care.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults facing relationship challenges, addiction, mental health concerns, and parenting difficulties. My experience spans residential and partial hospitalization settings, and I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I draw from a wide range of evidence-based and integrative therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Experiential Therapy, Family Systems, Strength-Based Practice, and Motivational Interviewing.
My years in the field have only deepened my passion and compassion for this work. I am continually inspired by the resilience of those I serve and honored to be part of their journey. I look forward to connecting with you and collaborating to create a clear, supportive roadmap toward healing, growth, and success.
